Amarone

Amarone, also known as Amarone della Valpolicella, is an Italian DOCG wine from the Veneto region. It is a full-bodied, ripe wine with raisiny characteristics and very little acid. Due to a labor-intensive production process, it is rarely released until five years after the vintage.
